The Knock (Part 20)

I didn't scream this time because of course I knew this wouldn't help the matter of having it not realize that I had seen it move.I then whispered to the little boy what I had just saw and he nodded his head and said it was a good idea that we didn't scream.I also nodded my head and we slowly started to walk again because we had stopped.I didn't look back to see if the tree was following us because I knew it was.I then aloud asked the little boy if he wanted to have a race so it didn't look like that we were running away from it.He screamed back and said sure how about down to the stream down there.It was a far distance off from us and said sure let's do it.I said on your marks get set go and we took off running.The little boy was slowing down so it actually looked like we were racing.I made to the stream first and noticed the little boy was walking now.I quickly ran up to him and grabbed him in my arms and started to run.We both made it to the stream and we both looked around after we had dunked our heads into the water.I then saw the tree right next to us.I then causally told the little boy look there must be a huge forest here let's go check it out.Then suddenly one of the tree's limbs most likely the arm grabbed me and the little boy....
