The Knock (Part 35)

The little boy and I turned around and looked around as quickly as we could.We wanted to make sure that no one was badly hurt and that they were not trying to scare us away.The little kitty that I now have jumped into the jean book bag and peeked it's head out a tiny bit.We looked around for a little while but we couldn't find the source of the scream until finally we heard the noise again.This time we tried to head in the direction that we heard the noise from.We searched for hours but couldn't come up with anything living that could have made the scream.I checked to make sure the kitty was still in the bag.She was and looked very happy that she had finally met someone who wouldn't hurt her.I then thought that the little kitty needed a name.i told the little boy this and he agreed with me.I then suddenly said how about we name her little blue eyes because she had these adorable light blue eyes and she was still just a kitten.The little boy smiled and said that was a great name and agreed with me that we should name her that.I then asked the kitten if she liked the name little blue eyes.She purred and the little boy said that she must like the name.I agreed but suddenly we heard a movement and a crunch of what sounded like a stick........
