I would rather be the smartest kid in school. I say this because I don't think being popular is too important. When you're popular you would have a lot of friends but you wouldn't know if they were talking about things about you behind your back. When you're smart you would still have friends even if you don't have as many. Also if you were the smartest kid in school you wouldn't have to stress over homework and tests. Also I wouldn't want to be popular because you would always have people surrounding you which would annoy me to no end. I want to be a teacher when I grow up so I will have to go to college and how can I get to college if I don't have the grades to show for it. Also i'd have to have conversations with random people in the school and I wouldn't be able to hang out with my friends.
